I’m not here to make your decision of which side to take in the great “revolver vs semi-auto” debate, but I do want to make sure you have plenty of options when making up your mind. Enter the Smith & Wesson M&P R8, an 8-shot revolver bought to you by one of the premier revolver manufacturers. Yes I’ll make sure you hear that right, the R8 model 327 fires eight (8) .357 magnum rounds. In the zombie infested world of zTomorrow, you need a reliable rugged, easy-to-use firearm if you’re not an expert in all things boom. Revolvers have fewer moving parts, and rely a lot less on oils and lubricants, meaning if you’ve got poor firearm cleaning habits, the revolver will most likely perform when the zeds bash the barriers down at the worst possible time. Alright so Snipers have known for decades that range is one of the most critical factors that keep them safe and make it much tougher for the enemy to evade your fire (if they have no idea where you are, they don’t know where to hide). Any decent rifle can give you serious firepower and accuracy at crazy long range, but the Stealth Recon Scout is a compact sniper weapon system allowing you to carry and deploy it much easier when you need to stay agile. A good carbine is something any zombie survivalist would love to have slung to their shoulder when clearing a location, or moving though the tight urban ruins. Most carbines are chambered in the 5.56mm NATO round (the classic bullet used by the M-16), but in recent times many have felt in a carbine with the shortened barrel, the 5.56 doesn’t have the punch that it usually has when fired from a longer 24 inch barrel. Enter the 6.8mm Special Purpose Cartridge (SPC), delivering 44% more energy than a 5.56 NATO when fired from the same barrel length (16 inches), the six-eight gives you the power you need to put rounds through zombie skulls, even if you have to get through the wall in front of you first. The Bushmaster 6.8 SPC rifle uses a slightly modified magazine and upper receiver to allow you to fire the 6.8 SPC from a familiar weapon system (the M4/AR-15 framework), reducing your learning curve when the z’s pile up at your door. the Bushmaster 6.8 SPC has a 16 inch M4 profile barrel allowing you to move through cramped areas and still bring your weapon into play. We’ve helped you stock your weapons cache with all kinds of rifles and long arms as well as a couple of pistols, but you should also think about packing an effective sub machine gun out in the zombie playgrounds as well. Springfield Arms XD(M) 9mm

I know the Glock 21 is reliable in pretty much any situation, but the .45ACP isn’t everyone’s best caliber to use when you’re going for Zombie kill of the week. Some just feel more comfortable with the 9mm in a life or death situation. Sure the big daddy .45 will put larger holes in decaying skulls, making sure there’s less gray matter left in the brain pan, but you’ve got to hit your target first.

Springfield Arms is brings a serious competitor for anyone serious about making sure your rounds find the mark. Their XD(M) pistol in 9mm does a great job of putting the holes right where you want them. I had the pleasure of firing one of these and even I was able to put an entire magazine into the face of my life-like simulated target at ~20 feet.

Calico M-110 Pistol

In a fight for your life against an Undead horde every second, and bullet, could spell life or Undeath. Reloading in the middle of battling a heavy swarm could spell disaster for you, and your survival buddies.
For those who hate the idea of needing to reload you pistol every 15 or so rounds, Calico Weapons Systems have the perfect gun for you. The Calico M-110 Pistol holds 100 rounds using it’s patented Helical Feed system, or the equivalent of 10 clips full from the Sig. It fires compact .22 bullets so there’s you can pack plenty of extra rounds, but if you’re ever in a situation against the Undead where 100 rounds is not enough, you’re pretty screwed anyway.

They also make a 9mm variation for those who feel the need for a little more kick.
