Widely considered “The Army’s Greatest Invention”, the P-38 Can Opener is a battle-proven reliable must-have for Z survivalists.
Developed in 1942 for the U.S. military, the P-38 has an absolutely simple and effective design that has remain unchanged in over six decades. At a mere 1.5 inches in length (approx. 38 mm), its small size and light weight make it easy to carry on any keychain (or necklace). The P-38 is also an OG of multi tools, “unofficially” acting as a screwdriver, seam ripper, bottle opener, wire stripper and for hundreds of other uses that soldiers dreamed up for it.
While not a “cutting edge” invention, it is definitely retro, and retro is the new modern.
I, um, apologize for the previous sentence in its entirety.
