You’ve got plenty of miles to travel in search of supplies, shelter, survivors and anything else that will allow you to make it one more day in the zombie-infested wastelands. The thought of having to siphon gasoline from broken down cars and trucks just makes it that much tougher. The PiCycle Electric Bike lets you cover ground with its rechargeable electric motor, when you just don’t have the extra calories to put into the pedals. It’s sleek, and cool-looking to boot (especially if you’re also a nerd that’s trying to survive the zomb-pocalypse). Even in a day and age when the living dead is more of a threat than vehicle emissions, you can still boast that your carbon footprint is much lower, so once civilization is rebuilt, it’ll still be a nicer place.

Hoofing it around isn’t always easy when you need to cover ground. Unfortunately fuel, and noisy motors may also be a bad idea, attracting unwanted zombie attention, when choosing transportation. A good sturdy mountain bike is always a good idea when you find the trail a little rough around the edges. The Mongoose Teocali Mega isn’t playing around. Its got all kinds of bells, whistles, shocks, and dampeners, to make your ride more pleasant when you’re putting some distance between point A and point Z. Sure it’s a beefy 25 pounds, but you’re not looking for a kid’s bike, are you?

Earth friendly is all fine and good, but if you’ve got a fuel source available and a lot of rough terrain to cover, the John Deere M-Gator A1 is a great, reliable way to get you and your supplies from point A to point B. The Gator is John Deere’s Mil-Spec ATV capable of hauling serious equipment with plenty of room for survivors as well. Not as large and bulky as a full size vehicle, this thing gives you speed and mobility to easily stay on the move. Right now it’s only available for Military, Law Enforcement or First Responders, but hey, if you fit that role, and you want to stay zprepared, then this puppy is for you.

Alright, hear me out with this. The key to surviving heavily infested areas is mobility. If you’re out in the open, scouting a large area there are several options for mobility, but the Air Trekker Jump Stilts gives you some crazy jumping ability, increases your mobility and speed, plus it keeps your hands free for any firearms you’re packing. If you find yourself surrounded by zombies, you can gain some ground, or even in extreme situations, jump over any shamblers that get too close.

Be the bionic zombie hunter, jump up to 10 feet high, run up to 20 miles per hour, catch some big air while dispatching zeds. The new cuff design allows you to put them on very quickly and easily, so you don’t have to walk around all day if you’re tired of impressing the ladies.

Bergmoench Downhilling Device

Bergmoench Downhilling Device

The Bergmoench Downhill Device isn’t your typical two wheel mountain trail transportation. One of the perks of this unusual transport is the ability to carry it like a rucksack if you’re hiking up hills to scout areas. once you reach your desired elevation, just slap this thing together and wheel around like a scooter. If you find yourself in a hairy situation, or if you’re ready to head back down, the true strength of the Bergmoench kicks in as you fly downhill with the stability of a mountain bike. Effortlessly put some distance between you and the zombie mountain-folk in style. It’s pricy, especially for a one-trick pony, but when you’re looking at a potential zombie Deliverance, that one trick could save your life.

Unicat Amerigo Unimog

Ever wonder what would happen if you took a Hummer and an RV and locked them in a hotel room together with some Champagne and Marvin Gaye on the stereo? Me neither, but I’m pretty sure the result would be similar to the Amerigo Unimog from Unicat. This Baby has all the trappings you’re going to want if you need to go off grid for a while after Z-Day. Permanent full-time 4-wheel drive, Mercedes-Benz 906 diesel engine, 60 gallon fuel tank, high articulating coil spring suspension; the list goes on and on. It doesn’t stop at just off-road readiness either, mounted on it’s back is a fully useable RV featuring a kitchenette (with a fridge, stove, microwave, & sink), Queen sized bed, washroom with a shower and a toilet and seating for up to 4 people. They even thought ahead enough to make sure all the windows and skylights were Burglar-Proof and Scratch resistant.
Consider this the Mullet of Recreational Vehicles, all business in the front, party in the back.

If you can get past some of the obvious shortcomings, Jeep Wranglers are great Zombie Survival rides. They’re rugged, relatively compact, and in 4X4 variations, Rubicon tested. Unfortunately, they have limited cargo-space, very little by way of exterior protection, and compared to some of their larger cousins (such as the H1 and Land Rover), aren’t as off road ready.
The folks at Landrunner Conversions are here to help. They offer a wide variety of upgrades and accessories that are sure to get your Jeep where it needs to be by Z-Day. Upgrade the body, add a roof rack for extra storage, attach one of their mean looking fastback shells, and throw a bumper guard and winch in for good measure and you’re pretty much good to go.

You can either bring your Jeep in, or send away for the Do-It-Yourself Kit.

Montague Paratrooper Folding Bicycle

The bicycle is probably one of the best modes of transportation in a world overrun by the Undead. They’re quite, compact, reliable, and require no fuel other than your own power. That’s why Zprepared is always keeping an eye out for the perfect 2-wheeled pedal mover.

When plowing thru hordes of the Undead a 4-wheeler with an enclosed cabin is probably the safest way to go.  Sometimes, however, the safe answer isn’t always the best answer.  Rugged enough to traverse almost any terrain, nimble enough to weave thru just about any obstacle, and an 8.7 gallon fuel tank that can go well over 300 miles before fueling up, this is the Swiss Army Knife of land transportation. Throw a couple panniers on it and you’ll have enough supplies to boot. Trust us, this go anywhere, doing anything bike could take you no other vehicle can, and leave those Hummer drivers as Zombie food.
